2026-2027 School Calendar
The Kimball Public School Board approved the 2026-27 School calendar at the Regular Board Meeting on March 9, 2026. Kimball Public Schools will again operate on a four-day school week during the 2026-2027 school year. A couple of notes regarding the 2026-2027 school calendar:
The start date for students is August 17, 2026 (1:00 PM dismissal).
The end date for students is May 20, 2026 (1:00 PM dismissal).
KPS will have school on 6 Fridays during the school year: September 11, 2026 (No school on Monday for Labor Day), November 6, 2026 (No school on Tuesday for Junior High Wrestling Tournament), January 8, 2027 (No school on Monday for staff professional development), February 219, 2027 (No school on Monday for staff professional development), March 5, 2027 (No school on Wednesday for FFA competition), April 2, 2027 (No school on Monday for Easter break)
