📣 Kimball Jr./Sr. High School Families – Action Required

Dear Kimball Jr./Sr. High School Families,

We're just one month away from the first day of school, and our staff is excited to welcome students back for another great year!

This year, we are launching an exciting new Advising Program designed to help every student develop a clear sense of purpose while preparing for success after high school.

Our school theme for 2026-2027 is:

Own Your Path

Every student will create an Individual Student Plan (ISP)—a personalized roadmap that includes academic, personal, career, and post-secondary goals. Each student will also be paired with a faculty adviser who will meet with them monthly to monitor progress, celebrate successes, and provide guidance throughout the school year.

We Need Your Help

Because you know your child better than anyone, your input is an essential part of building a meaningful plan.

Please complete the ISP Intake Form with your student by Friday, July 24, 2026.

The form takes approximately 20–30 minutes and asks about:

  • Academic strengths

  • Interests and activities

  • Career interests

  • Plans after high school

  • Goals for the coming school year

How to Complete the ISP Intake

Step 1 – Find Your Student ID

Log into Infinite Campus and open the Student Summary page. Your student's 6-digit Student ID is listed there.

If you need assistance locating the ID, email me at dreader@kpslonghorns.org.

Step 2 – Open the Intake Form

ISP Intake Form:

https://isp-student-success.onrender.com/#/intake

Step 3 – Verify Your Student

Enter the Student ID when prompted.

The system will display:

  • the

    last four digits

    of the ID

  • your student's

    grade level

Please verify this information before continuing.

Step 4 – Complete the Form Together

Please complete the questions with your student.

To help protect student privacy, refer to your child using their Student ID or "my student" rather than entering their name.

Step 5 – Submit

Once submitted, the ISP will be created and reviewed by your student's adviser before the school year begins.

Families with Multiple Households

If more than one parent or guardian may complete the form, please coordinate so only one intake form is submitted per student.

Once an intake has been submitted, additional submissions cannot be accepted.

This program represents an exciting step forward in helping every student discover their strengths, establish meaningful goals, and truly Own Their Path throughout junior high and high school.

Thank you for partnering with us in helping every student succeed. We appreciate your support and involvement.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
