The Kimball Track Team was in action this past Saturday in Bayard. Despite a chilly start, the weather turned out better than expected, and our athletes delivered an impressive day filled with some personal records and first and second-place finishes! Great job to all our Longhorn athletes! We’re back at it tomorrow, 4/8, in Creek Valley and again on Thursday, 4/10, in Mitchell. #LonghornPride

Yesterday at ELITE we had student choice. The kids could choose to play sharks and minnows in the gym, do a spring art project, or play with magna tiles.

The Morrill Early Bird Invite was packed with excitement as all of our high school track athletes hit the ground running—literally! The boys’ 100m sprint was a major highlight, with all three qualifying for finals from the prelims and Jacob Wendt racing his way to victory. In the field events, Derek Russell was unstoppable, dominating both the shot put and discus. The boys’ pole vaulters took the top two spots in an impressive 1-2 finish. The 3 boys in the mile all brought home medals. The momentum didn’t stop there! Faith Bohac and Kylie Wendt blazed their way into the 200m finals, while Emmaline Tabor sprinted her way into the 100m finals. The triple jump was another big win, with Charlotte Bremer, Faith Bohac, and Clarika Hottell all bringing home medals. It was a day full of incredible performances, and our athletes left it all on the track and in the field. Rachel Berger and Charlotte Bremer both brought home hardware in the 400. For a full breakdown of results, check out athletic.net or keep an eye on the Observer for more coverage. Great job, team! Photo Credits to Jess Miller.
