What an eventful Friday! First Grade had an amazing day starting with a pep rally and finishing with an award assembly!

Dear Kimball Area Businesses,
Let me start by saying thank you for the consistent and remarkable support you provide to our school year after year. I'd like to inform you that All American Publishing may have already or may be contacting your business regarding a T-shirt sponsorship opportunity. We have a valid agreement with them, and they provide 100 shirts to the school at no cost with our KPS logo on the front and business logos on the back. These shirts are distributed to students and fans during games and events. If you have seen our cheer team throwing shirts to the crowd at games, those are the shirts from this program. Thank you to all of our local businesses that sponsored the shirts for this school year!
The agreement with All American Publishing is NOT a fundraiser for any Kimball Public Schools activities and we receive no proceeds from this program. While they are a legitimate program, please do not feel obliged in any way to participate, especially if you are already supporting our activities through other means. I apologize for any inconvenience and/ or confusion that may have been caused as a result of this program.
Your ongoing support means the world to us, and I sincerely want to say thank you to all of our local businesses for your ongoing support. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this program, please feel free to reach out to me at your convenience at: (308)235-4861 or dhowitt@kpslonghorns.org
Best regards,
Darrell Howitt

As we start into the 3rd quarter at the Jr/Sr High School, we want to recognize our students who earned recognition for The Longhorn Way in the 2nd quarter. To qualify for The Longhorn Way, students earned A's and B's for the quarter, had no tardies, had no referrals to Longhorn Time, had no behavior referrals and participated in at least one extracurricular activity. Below is a list of the students who qualified. These students have earned a trip during a school day during the 3rd quarter to recognize their efforts. Past trips have included ice skating, bowling, laser tag and a pumpkin patch/corn maze.
In addition, we would like to recognize our Students of the Quarter. These students were selected by their teachers based on their work ethic in the classroom, their respectful behavior to staff and students and their kindness to others. The Students of the Quarter will be treated to lunch with the Board of Education. The Students of the Quarter are:
7th Grade - Abigail Jiang
8th Grade - Connor Markum
9th Grade - Tradin Hottell
10th Grade - Eddie Duran
