Longhorn Boys Wrestling is in action at the Charlie Lake Invitational today. Well over 500 wrestlers at two facilities on 12 mats. Cameron McGinnis is the only wrestler in the varsity division with a bye and loss is still in the hunt for hardware. Mason Holmes has 2 wins and is sitting in a good position to place high. Good Luck Longhorns!!

Friday ELITE today: The kids went to the Kimball Recycle Center and learned firsthand how things get recycled. They did a great job sorting plastics and paper and had a lot of fun while they worked! Thank you to Spud Rowley and Cassady Malm for making all the arrangements!

We have some new art hanging in the hospital. This time we are featuring some wonderful watercolors by some talented kindergarteners, some terrific tool drawings by 7th graders, and some cool cityscapes by high schoolers. Thank you again to Kimball Health Services for the great space.

It's GAME DAY for our Longhorn basketball squads as the boys and girls will be in action at the Arena facing off against Perkins County in the SPVA opener for both teams. The JV teams start off the action at 4:00 PM with JV boys in the practice gym and JV girls in the main gym with varsity girls and boys to follow in the main gym. In addition, we will have a special recognition ceremony in the main gym prior to the varsity girls warm-up (approximately 5:00 PM) for our Longhorn senior basketball player Kyler Lusche as he has surpassed 1000 career points. Let's pack the Arena and support our student athletes! #LonghornPride
