Congratulations to Brayson Atkins for being the 1st student to complete the 12 expectations challenge earning cookie decorating and hot cocoa! Soon after him, several other 3rd graders finished their challenges too. Keep up the hard work Longhorns... the rewards are very sweet indeed!

ELITE Afterschool Program had art club yesterday. The kids did a directed drawing, Reindeer. They turned out so cute!! I will post a pic when they get hung up in the gym!


Last week's Student of the Week at the Kimball Jr/Sr High School was Peter Russell. On Friday, Jay Allen with KIMB 104.3 interviewed Peter as well as a couple of his recommending teachers and presented him with a plaque and gift certificate to the Goodhand Theater. An update is being made to the student section for the basketball season. Our student involvement at games is growing fast! So, we are expanding the student section. The large section of bleachers directly across the stairs from the pep band will be divided in half. The section closest to the pep band (all the way to the top) will be blocked off for the students. Please view the map shown below for further clarification.
Parents and spectators, we thank you for your cooperation as these new changes are being made!

Longhorn Basketball in action at Leyton tonight!! Girls Varsity and JV fought hard but came up short. Boys get the win on both!! They will be back in action with their home opener on Tuesday 12/5 against Garden County starting at 4pm.
