The student of the week at the Kimball Jr/Sr High School is Emmaline Tabor. Jay Allen with KIMB 104.3 was at the school on Friday to interview Emmaline and the referring teachers as well as to present her with a plaque and gift certificate to the Goodhand Theater. The interview was broadcast yesterday morning but if you missed it, you can listen to it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kj3759OEsdcK1kcgcVzF7yeZHFh833e0/view?usp=sharing
Congratulations Emmaline!

Supermarket Sweep Continued
We forgot to mention that Clean Harbors picked up the food bill for all items totaling over $1600!!
On Friday, students from the Kimball Jr/Sr High School participated in our own version of Supermarket Sweep. In partnership with Main Street Market, Clean Harbors and the Kimball Food Pantry, students raced through the store in search of over 60 food items, pre-selected as items in need. The students who collected all items in the fastest time earned points for their ranch (think the Harry Potter house system but Longhorn style). The Growling Grizzlies, represented by Rachel Berger, Braxton Miller, Grace Moore, Joe Bremer and Mr. Jefferis, were the winners. If you missed it on Friday, KIMB 104.3 broadcast the event live from Main Street Market and Jay Allen was able to interview all involved. The interviews are linked below.

Thank you to all involved for making this event happen! It was a great day for our community!

A heartfelt thank you to James L. Eatmon Masonic Lodge for their incredible generosity! With their donation, we've cleared many outstanding school lunch balances, ensuring all our students get nutritious meals without financial barriers. Thank you for your support, it means the world to us!
Today at ELITE we started our Balloons Over Broadway project. The kids watched the story online and worked on balloon designs. Over the next couple weeks, they will design, plan, and make a balloon. We will then have a little Thanksgiving parade, to showcase their work.

ELITE Afterschool Program Leaf watercolor/resist art. The kids did a great job with this activity. They collected leaves, did a crayon rubbing, then watercolor over the top.

New dimension had the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at the Nuggets game this evening at Ball Arena. Excellent rendition by the show choir under the direction of Mr. Hoffman! #LonghornPride

For everyone that is ready for the "Basketball Season" below is a link and QR code to purchase your very own "Kimball Longhorns" basketball garments and gear!! This 1st store will end on Nov 9th to guarantee delivery to the school before the holidays. After that we will put the store back up for a couple of weeks but there will be no guarantees of Christmas delivery. This is not a fundraiser so your purchase can be as low cost as possible on each item. Just a great way to show your school spirit while supporting our hometown basketball players and teams!! We look forward to seeing you all in the stands this year and cannot thank you all enough for the continued support and encouragement. GO LONGHORNS!! #LonghornPride
