Longhorn wrestlers competed in the SPVA/WTC conference tournament today at Bridgeport. They all gave good effort. Trey however was the only one to place, finishing third. #longhornpride





Attention Parents
On Monday, February 7th we will be taking winter sports pictures as well as the fall ones we missed.
Each athlete will take an individual picture as well as the team picture.You will the receive a proof for you to look at.
You can use this proof to order after OR you can order before. order forms are by the office in the high school.
Coaches should be reaching out to athletes about uniforms/outfits for pictures.


Learning about printmaking. Students in Art 1 and Art 2 have been busy creating relief prints. Relief Printmaking is a very detailed process. Students carved an image in a linoleum block and tried to print 3 images as close to identical as possible.

The Food Science team, made up of Shannen Acheson, Carlee Murdoch, Hayden Sours, Julia Winstrom, and (winner of High Individual) Grace Anderson took 1st place in District 12! Both teams will represent Kimball at the State FFA Convention in April!


Hard work pays off. Kimball FFA members are bringing home hardware from the District 12 CDE in Gordon. The Ag Mechanics team made up of Aaron Gillming, Cody Brinkman, Landon Norberg, and Justin Klosterman placed 5th in the district!

Progress of the KHS ag greenhouse pineapple flower. Pineapple fact- Pineapples are native to South America before Christopher Columbus discovered them in 1493.


Mrs. Hiles-Smith and Mr. Hofman did a great job hosting the SPVA Jr. High Honor Band and Choir. 165 students put on an outstanding performance.



Reminder: The Junior High SPVA Band and Choir Concerts begin at 3:30 PM today at the Harry E. McNees Auditorium, Kimball Jr./Sr. High School. We will also be livestreaming the concert on the KPS Youtube Channel; bit.ly/2MlewEn
