Reminder: The 1st Annual Kimball Longhorn Wrestling Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday August 29 at 1:00 PM at Four Winds GC.
The location of The Panhandle Classic cross country meet has been moved from Riverview Golf Course to the Scottsbluff Country Club.

Due to the forecast temperatures and present building temperatures, we will have 1:00 PM heat dismissals on Thursday August 26 and Friday August 27. We already have scheduled a 1:00 PM heat dismissal for Wednesday August 25. There will be no ELITE afterschool program on these dates (Wednesday 8-25, Thursday 8-26, Friday 8-27).

A reminder to parents that this evening from 5 to 6pm high school sports practices are open to the public. After practice coaches will be available for questions.
Kimball athletes will be back in action this week and want to wish them luck as the fall sports seasons get under way. Girls golf will be at Sidney on Tuesday and Bayard on Thursday. Volleyball will be in Hemingford on Thursday for a triangular with Gordon and Hemingford. Cross country will open their season in Scottsbluff on Thursday. Unfortunately the football game at Hitchcock County has been canceled due to low numbers. Best of luck to all the athletes. #longhornpride

Junior High Volleyball will meet during 9th hour on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We will go over the handbook and expectations on Monday and practice Tuesday and Wednesday. Players will be dismissed at 1:00 to go home. We are looking forward to a great season of volleyball!
Attention Jr. High football players…
We will start football activities on August 23rd, during 9th period. We will go through our handbook and continue with practice afterwards. You will need football shoes, T-shirt, and a pair of gym shorts. If you do not have football shoes at this time we may have some that you can use. On heat days, we will still have practice for an hour outside. We will practice until 2:00 on those days. If you or your student needs to ride the bus home we will make sure we release them in time to do so. We look forward to having all of you out for football. Each and everyone of you has something to bring to make this team better.
