August 19th - Mary Lynch Open House Prek - 6th grade-5:30 to 7:00pm Prekindergarten students and Parents - morning Prek - 5:30 to 6:15pm and afternoon Prek - 6:15 to 7:00pm. Kindergarten and 1st grade parent meeting at 5:45pm 2nd - 6th grade parent meeting at 6:15pm. Hope to see everyone there!!

BACKSTAGE - A virtual Broadway Experience - Saturday, August 21, 2021 - 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
This is a clinic for actors and actresses wishing to improve their acting skills. The Crane River Theater’s Backstage Workshop is an interactive Broadway experience. Backstage is the perfect way to kick-start our seasons of One-Act and Speech. You will receive advice from professional artists and educators.

Kimball Public Schools and Kimball Education Association, with special thanks to Kerry Ferguson, took over 20 cases of water, soda, and snacks to help support the firefighters battling the fire on Banner/Morrill Counties. #Longhornpride
Just a reminder that all fall sports athletes must have a physical before they can practice. The official start of practice for each sport will be as follows: Monday August 9th Volleyball 9AM-11Am and 3PM-5PM meet in the practice gym, Football 4:30 pm meet in the weight room. Tuesday August 10th Cross Country 7AM meet on the east side of the school, Girls Golf 6:30 am meet at the golf course. #longhornpride
There is a parent/guardian meeting Monday, August 9, at 6:00 pm in the new gym for any parent/guardian whose daughter is going out for volleyball. If you are unable to make the meeting please contact Coach Ferguson. Before your daughter will be eligible to play in a game you have to meet with Coach Ferguson so you are aware of the new changes.

The following is information from the NSAA regarding fall activities:
The NSAA is preparing to begin the 2021 fall sports season as currently scheduled. First practices for football, volleyball, cross country, girls golf, boys tennis, and softball are set to begin August 9th.
This past year the health and safety of our students, coaches, and officials was our priority as we worked to provide activities for our member schools. This will not change. If modifications are needed, we will be in contact with you ASAP. As before, we ask you to please be understanding and flexible as we continue to try to navigate through this pandemic. We will continue to work with the Governor’s office, Nebraska Department of Education, and the local health departments to make the best decisions for your students and our member schools. We are planning to start the fall season with no restrictions.
To be able to start our activities on time we must be leaders when it comes to best practice, it is a recommendation of the NSAA that schools should:
Work closely with your local health departments
Keep groups small and attendance recorded
Wash your hands regularly
Disinfect equipment regularly
Stay home if you don’t feel well
Have a plan dealing with quarantining
Embrace the opportunities for vaccination
Our goal once again, is to return to school to have a full, productive, healthy season and create a great experience for our students. Please, help us achieve this goal.

Reminder that if your son/daughter plan to play sports in junior high or high school they will need a physical. Fall sports practice starts August 9th for high schoolers. Make sure they are reaching out to their coaches if they need information.
