
The Kimball Track Team and the Kimball Golf Team have set up websites for people to purchase team-specific apparel if you are in the market. The golf store is open until 4/1, and the track store is open until 4/3. The turnaround time should be quick. Most items are available in red, black, and white. Please reach out to the school if you have any questions.

The Art Show is getting set up. Please come see the works of art students have been creating all year. It starts today at 4:30 and goes until 7:30. Our Kimball Robotics team had an incredible performance at the FIRST LEGO League competition! We took 1st place in Robot Design and earned an impressive high score of 190, placing 32nd out of 89 teams—putting us in the top 36% of the state!

The Kimball Longhorns got our track season underway today at the UNK indoor meet. We broke a couple records (see other posts), set a few new PRs, and brought home some hardware.

Rachel Berger and Clarika Hottell tied for 3rd in the Pole Vault

Derek Russell - 1st discus, 3rd shot put

JaLeigh Bohac broke the freshman girls' discus record of 113'4" set by Jessica Hanks in 2012 by getting one out there at 119'2". Way to go Jaleigh!!

Derek Russell broke the sophomore discus record of 132' set in 1967 by Rich Wallin and the school record of 156'3" set in 1982 by Mitch Daum by busting one out there at a distance of 170'6". WOW!!
He also broke the sophomore shot put record of 45'5" set in 1995 by JD Broskey with a throw of 50'9".

These Kimball Jr. High band students have spent the day in Gering at the Panhandle Middle School Honor Band clinic. They have worked diligently to create amazing music with other kids from the area. #LonghornPride

KPS Art Show
Join us March 24th and 25th at the Kimball Junior Senior High School for a Kindergarten thru 12th grade art show, 4:30-7:30.
On Tuesday starting at 5:00 come watch performances from the Kimball One Act and Speech Teams. The Speech Team will be heading to compete in state competition Wednesday, please come and wish them good luck.


Today at ELITE, the kids made cute little snakes using pipe cleaners and perler beads.



Today at Friday ELITE we had a lesson about snakes! 🐍 Amanda Filipi from the Wildcat Hills Nature Center brought two snake friends for the kids to pet, and they played a fun game called Snakes and Mice.





Kimbots have had a successful day learning and presenting their project to the LEGO First judges. Tomorrow the robot games will begin!!!
