Round 3 of the WTC Basketball Tournament continues today at WNCC in Cougar Palace in Scottsbluff. Both teams are in the Championship games. The High School girls vs Bridgeport at 5pm followed by the High School boys vs Bridgeport at 6:30pm. The last time both teams were in the WTC championship together was the 2012-2013 season. Day 2 of the B4 Girls District Wrestling is underway. After this morning's first round the Lady Longhorns still have 3 wrestlers in the fight. Barbara, Noley, and Rachel are still looking for a trip to Omaha. McKenzie Howard wrapped up her 2024-2025 season this morning. Proud of you McKenzie!!

Yesterday at Friday ELITE Amanda Filipi frome the Wildcat Hills Nature Center read a story about how different animals adapt to winter. She brought a few animal pelts and even a turtle for us to see. 😁








Yesterday at Friday ELITE the kids used model magic to create some interesting projects.

Boys wrestling is at the SPVA/ WTC Tournament in Bridgeport today. Going into the final rounds Jax and Kip are done for the day. Cody, Cameron and Mason are all wrestling the backside of the bracket for anywhere from 3rd place to 6th place.

High School Art 1 students just finished their ceramic initials. They are working on a mixed media project and soon we will dive into some art history.

Junior High Art just finished our drawing unit. They were asked to focus on using values to create form in their small tool / object drawings.

The MathCounts kids did awesome today at their competition! Our small team of three got 5th place. We had the opportunity to play trivia and do a team activity with the other schools today while we waited for results.
