Hey, Longhorn Nation! The Kimball Cheer team competed in Minitare this morning, and we are thrilled to share the results!
Our cheerleaders are bringing home a Champion trophy in the Game Day division! The team took first place in a contest against four other schools from all classes, including Gering and Mitchell. They persevered through multiple injuries, a last minute illness, and very limited practice time to ride to the top! This small (but mighty) team of 6 showed their competition it’s not always about numbers, it’s about heart and leaving it all out there on mat!
Additionally, we had two cheerleaders compete in the individual Jump Championship at today’s competition! The competition consisted of 26 total jumpers. Senior Renee Murdoch did a fantastic job representing her team and rocked her jump! Freshman Emmaline Tabor pushed through three rounds of jumps and took first place! Making it two HUGE wins for Kimball.
Big congratulations to the Cheerleaders as they start preparing for their competition season this winter!

Congratulations to Justin Klosterman on receiving his FFA American Degree today in Indianapolis at the National Convention. 💙💛 We are proud of your hard work and continued dedication!🎖️

Two of the JAG Career Association leaders, Ainslie and Rachel, got the opportunity to travel to Omaha, Nebraska to attend a Leadership Development Conference at Creighton University. There were over 250 students and JAG Career Specialists from across the state of Nebraska in attendance. We learned a lot about honing in on and developing leadership skills, how to determine our strengths and weaknesses, and how to work to overcome failure. A lot of fun was had and not nearly enough photos were taken, but here are a few that were captured throughout the conference.
