The Kimball FFA kids attended the National Western Stock Show in Denver on Wednesday, January 15th. They spent the day looking at booths, lives stock, enjoying some meals and then attending the PBR Finals. It was a long and fun day. Today 3 of those FFA kids are doing interviews in Alliance as part of their state degree applications.

Big W for the Longhorn boys basketball team as they knock off Bridgeport 52-50 to advance to the semifinals of the SPVA conference tournament! A HUGE assist to all of the fans who packed the Arena to support the team! Due to the forecast extreme cold, Kimball Public Schools will have a 10:00 AM late start on Monday, January 20 and on Tuesday, January 21. PreK sessions will run from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM and buses will run accordingly. Stay warm and stay safe.
Last Wednesday, a few JAG students had the opportunity to take a campus tour of Chadron State College. Students got a general information session from admissions, got an overview of student activities on campus, took a fun visit to the planetarium, ate lunch in the college cafeteria, and then got a tour of the campus.
