The Kimball Longhorn Cheer team had an amazing time at our UCA Camp in Fort Collins! The team spent four days on the CSU campus learning new dances and cheers, improving their techniques, building stronger stunts, and having fun! In camp championship, our cheerleaders took home first place in the Crowd Cheer and Overall Game Day Categories and third place in Camp Dance. Special shout-out to Ashlynn White and Emmaline Tabor for serving as HS and Jr. High captains, Harley O'Rourke for receiving a Pin It Forward award, and Renee Murdoch for earning All-American and a Pin It Forward award. We are so proud of all our cheerleaders their hard work, dedication, and ~awesome~ Longhorn Spirit this weekend!

Only 3 weeks away (July 29th) until our BIGGEST fund raising event for our Kimball Longhorn (NSAA Member) sports teams!! This Golf/Sponsorship event and Banquet/Silent Auction event will be the only fundraiser for the 23-24 season that our football. cross country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, golf, and track teams will be conducting for the year and will replace the numerous product based fundraisers each team has had in the past. Funds will help each team with costs associated with team camps, bringing in instructors, and other things our teams believes will help in the process of developing our youth for today's competition and future endeavors. Several ways you can help the cause is by: - Getting a Team to play in the Golf Tournament ($300) - Becoming a White, Red, or Gold sponsor ($500. $1000, $1500) - Becoming a Hole Sponsor / Donating a Hole Prize - Attending the Banquet by purchasing a ticket ($50) - Donating an item for the Silent Auction - Bidding on a Silent Auction item (Banquet Ticket Not Required) - Making a Free Will Donation of Any amount to support the cause or team of your choosing. Other teams and activities not associated with the NSAA will still go about their fundraising as normal, however, if enough money is raised by this event they too might receive a portion of the proceeds from these events to help out with their fundraising goals as well. Please contact any Head Coach at Kimball Public Schools for any other questions you might have concerning these events coming up on July 29th. We thank you all for your past, present, and future support and can not wait for our Kimball Longhorn Athletes to show everyone just how hard they have all been working this offseason!!

So proud of our young Longhorn team!! Finished up our summer league season with a win vs Gering and a loss vs Scottsbluff. Ended up taking 2 incoming 8th graders, 2 freshmen, 2 sophomores, and 2 seniors this evening. These 8 battled hard all evening and got better with the experience. 8-3 on the season overall and so thankful we have players willing to put in the time. #LonghornPride #basketballfamily #opportunities
