We wrapped up an AMAZING assembly this morning with NED's Mindset Mission, and it was a blast! Our students were fully engaged in the fun and interactive performance, all about Never giving up, Encouraging others, and Doing our best! But the excitement doesn't stop there! Next week, we'll be hosting yo-yo sales to pay-it-forward to the next school. So if you get a moment, be sure to ask your Longhorn about the fantastic experience they had! Let's keep the positive vibes going!

On Friday, April 26th, there will be an adjusted Jr/Sr High School schedule due to the absence of high school track, junior high track, and high school golf participants. With a significant number of students participating in these events, we will use this day to focus intensively on academic support for those who remain. The day will be devoted to assisting students who need extra help with completing assignments, retaking tests, and improving their grades before the semester concludes. Students who have all A's and B's by April 25th will be granted a day off and are not required to attend. All other students, not involved in the sporting events, must attend and will benefit from dedicated time to catch up on their work and improve their grades with teacher support.

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟 Get ready for an amazing assembly coming to Mary Lynch this Friday, April 19th! 🎉 We're thrilled to host NED's Mindset Mission, a character education program that's all about three crucial messages: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. 🌟 During the assembly, our students will dive into the importance of these life skills through engaging storytelling, magic, humor, and mind-blowing yo-yo tricks! 🪀 But the fun doesn't stop there! After the assembly, we'll sell yo-yos just like the ones used during the show. But here's the best part: when you purchase a yo-yo, you're not just getting a fun toy - you're supporting an incredible cause! 🙌 Yo-yos also allow schools to host NED's Mindset Mission without dipping into their budget. Through the Pay-It-Forward program, schools receive the performance and follow-up teacher resources for free. Then, by hosting a yo-yo sale, families can continue the mission by sending NED's message to the next school! 🌈 Did you know, yo-yo information went home in yesterday's Longhorn mail? 📬 Let's come together and support this amazing initiative!
