Kimball Public Schools is excited to welcome students back into the building on Monday August 23. We would like to inform everyone about current guidance regarding COVID-19 received from the state of Nebraska, PPHD, and the NSAA. You can find this information on our school website in the news section, click on our menu tab and select "KPS COVID-19 Information", or go to our Documents section and select "KPS Safe Return to Learn Plans".
A couple of key points: COVID-19 positive students of staff will still need to isolate themselves for ten days. Close contacts of positive COVID-19 cases may still be contacted by PPHD so that parents and students know that they need to self-monitor. When self-monitoring for symptoms, these include: any of the following: sudden onset of cough, sudden onset of shortness of breath, or sudden loss of taste or smell, OR two or more of the following symptoms: a fever of 100.4 or above, chills, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or fatigue. Any changes or additions to this guidance will be communicated to all via our school website and app as the school year progresses

It’s the 1st day for new staff at Kimball Public Schools! A big Welome to Ms. Dorrell, Mr. Birky, Mr. Jefferis, Ms. Robinson, Mrs. Diamond, and Mrs. Enevoldsen as they join our team this year! #LonghornPride
