It looks like the future of the Longhorns is shining bright as the Kimball Youth Basketball program was in action today in Paxton. They asked if we could share some of their success and we couldn't be more proud of these future Longhorn athletes!
"Proud is definitely an understatement that we have for this special group of boys. After leaving Kimball at 5:30am to drive 2.5hrs, then to play 6 games and fight all the way to the finish; with a double-overtime ending in sudden death, these boys fought hard for this 1st place medal in the Sutherland/Paxton Tournament today!
These players are representing the Kimball, Banner County and Home School Communities along with an Assistant Coach from Potter-Dix; way to come together as a team and fight for the finish!
Thank you to the parents for the support today, especially since it was such an early morning!"

The Speech Team had 2 speakers compete in finals today in Ogallala. Mallory Hottell in persuasive and Skyla Steirwalt in poetry. They compete against 27 other schools with nearly 400 students.
