We will have a full week of sports training this week and if you factor in the last week being testing, we will be crossing the halfway point of the summer.
Next week in observance of Independence Day we will only meet on Wednesday and Thursday. So you can enjoy a long weekend with your families!

Another great outing for Longhorns boys basketball!! Two more wins in League play put us to 7-0 on the season with two more weeks. Today we took down Scottsbluff Red and Potter-Dix respectively. 7 players made for some extended playing time for our two incoming freshmen and they keep improving with each week. These JH and High School students have been working hard and trying to develop great habits. Every Thursday and Saturday we get together with any students wanting to play basketball this next season at 7pm that are entering 7th-12th grade. We have had as many as 18 players and are going to have our 7th offseason practice tonight at 7pm. Been going through offense's, transitions, good habits, reading defenses, and skill progressions. Love watching kids getting better through commitment and developing those great habits on and off the court. If you are a student entering the 7th-12 grade and are wanting to get better, please join us and see just how far you can develop your game.
The volleyball side of the Future Lady Longhorn camp went great! The girls worked hard and made lots of improvement on their skills. A big thank you to Coach Binny from WNCC for coming over and helping with this camp. Excited for the future of longhorn athletics!! #LonghornPride

ELITE Summer Program had a fun day today: the kids planted grass in cups with silly faces, Mrs. Terrill shared her worms with us, and we walked to the Library for SRP where the kids got to color their own tote bag!
