The Kimball State Range Judging Teams did awesome this year! Even with this year's drought and not being familiar with the specific plants and ecological sites present in North Platte the Senior Team still placed in the top 50% of 50 teams overall! The best part is we didn't get rained on this year! Congratulations everyone!

9/16 was an eventful day for JAG students as they learned all the ins and outs of lineman work from High West Energy's own Colt Alexander. Mike also presented alongside Colt while they discussed WNCC and lineman school in Alliance. Students learned the many opportunities and benefits of becoming a lineman. Colt and Mike took us out to explore a variety of safety gear and the possibilities of the bucket truck. It was very exciting for all the students. Thanks Colt and Mike!

On 9/11 the JAG classroom had a day of remembrance and a special guest. Chief of Police James Lucero came and spoke to the students about all the great opportunities there are in policing.

What an exciting week of learning in 3rd grade!! The students attended a wellness clinic in Sidney where they learned the importance of health and fitness. Some of the topics we learned about were nutrition, exercise, and the different types of bullying and how to deal with them. In math, students participated in centers to practice addition and subtraction with regrouping and 2's, 5's, 9's and 10's multiplication facts.
