A spooktacular day in kindergarten! 👻 From the costume parade (thank you to the Manor, Vista Villa, and the HS) to our best dance moves with the skeleton shake, candy treats, math patterns, and all the giggles in between...it was a day full of fun, friends, and of course some sugar! 🍬 Happy Halloween from Kindergarten! 🎃

📚🤩 Reading Roundup kicked off this week at Mary Lynch Elementary! When it’s Reading Roundup time, the whole school reads! Every Longhorn spends 15 minutes reading at the same time! From kindergarten to sixth grade, our students are coming together to celebrate reading and grow their skills in a fun, consistent way. Great things are happening in our classrooms every day! 🌟

A Thank You to the Kimball Community As we close another football season, I want to take a moment to thank the entire Kimball community for your incredible support of Longhorn Football. From the stands on Friday nights to the encouraging words in the hallways and around town, your pride and passion for our team have meant more than you know. I was especially touched by the outpouring of support as we made our first trip to postseason play in many years. A special thank you goes out to The Eagles and The Sugar Shack for hosting and providing meals for our team during that exciting week. Your generosity and spirit truly reflect what makes Kimball such a special place. As a program, we emphasize giving back to the community that gives so much to us. Although we could never fully match the support Kimball provides, I am incredibly proud of this group of young men and the way they respond to every community service opportunity. They are quick to lend a hand—and they do it with a great attitude. I couldn’t be prouder of our players. These young men showed tremendous growth, grit, and commitment throughout the season. They’ve worked hard—on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom—representing Kimball with integrity and heart. The lessons they’ve learned this year go far beyond football, and I’m confident they’ll carry those lessons into every challenge they face moving forward. Thank you to our parents, coaches, volunteers, administration, and all who give their time and energy to make Longhorn Football possible. Your belief in our program continues to raise the standard and strengthen the foundation for what we want this program to be. Proud to be a Longhorn. – Coach Darrell Howitt, Head Football Coach, Kimball High School
