More balloon creations!
After reading "Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Parade" by Melissa Sweet, the Kindergarten and 1st Grade students began to plan and build parade balloons of their own. Today, they marched through the hallways with their creations while the other grades watched from the sides.

Kason brought Boomer and Snappy for his show and share as he finished another Longhorn Challenge Card! The kids loved it!
Congratulations to our very own Kristi Hiles-Smith for being selected as this year's Nebraska Music Educators Association K-12 Music Educator Of The Year. It's an honor to have her as an educator in Kimball!

The kids enjoyed making cute scarecrows and a shoe to practice tying laces!
Friday ELITE today: Popcorn Science! 🍿 We did a dancing popcorn experiment using baking soda and vinegar. Then the kids got to make popcorn in the microwave 😋
The Jr. High wrestlers showed up and worked hard today in Morrill! Great job, boys! 🤼♂️🔥

Our Longhorns traveled to Ogallala tonight and played with heart across all teams!
✨ A Team brought home a great win!
💪 B Team came up short but fought an incredibly tough game.
📈 C Team continues to grow—lots of great experience gained on the court tonight!

A fun, hands-on treat that was just as adorable as it was delicious! From cookies to candy (and of course some frosting), Kindergarten loved building their own turkey snacks to enjoy today! 😊🦃💛🍁
In Kindergarten, we’ve been learning all about how things change over time! From record players to MP3s, typewriters to computers, rotary phones to cell phones, and ink pots to pencils! Our learners loved seeing how the tools we use have grown and changed! The biggest hit? Practicing how to dial on a real rotary phone! ☎️ Watching their faces as they spun the dial was pretty great...of course followed by lots of questions! 😊
Today is a special day for the Longhorn family as we celebrate Addy Olson and her commitment to compete at the next level!
Addy’s journey has been defined by leadership, resilience, and an unwavering work ethic. She sets the standard in our programs—showing up every day determined to improve, lifting up the people around her, and competing with heart in everything she does. Her dedication on and off the court has made this milestone truly well-earned.
We are incredibly proud of Addy and can’t wait to see all she achieves in the next chapter of her athletic career.

Because of your support, we raised about $400. Our Leadership Team will be donating all funds to the JR/SR High Ranches for their Pajamas for Manor Residents fundraiser.

Our sophomores hit the road yesterday for the Career Cabs trip offered in Sidney- an exciting opportunity to explore the wide range of jobs available locally! Students visited multiple workplaces, asked great questions, and learned firsthand what different career paths look like. Trips like these help our students discover their interests, make real -world connections, and take meaningful steps toward choosing the right path- whether that's college, career, or both!
