Today at ELITE, we made Fruit Salad Cones.🍓🍌🫐 We mixed cool whip, vanilla yogurt, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, and bananas and put it in an ice cream cone and then into the freezer for 30 minutes. Delicious 😋

Today, the ELITE kids walked to the library for the Summer Reading Program. They had fun making lanterns!
Last call for the Lady Longhorn Camp. This is a great chance for our youth to continue to work on their basketball and volleyball skills. To guarantee a tee shirt you need to be registered by Sunday June 9th. To get registered contact Coach Burks (jburks@kpslonghorns.org) or Coach Enevoldsen (jenevoldsen@kpslonghorns.org). We will take campers up until the day of, but you may not get a shirt.

The High School Team kicked off their season with an amazing UCA home camp! We had a great time, learned a ton, worked new skills and technique and ended with a showcase for our parents! We would like to send a HUGE Thank You to all who have supported the Red and White Fundraiser as those funds made it possible for us to have this camp with zero out of pocket cost to the cheerleaders!
Just a reminder that Longhorn summer weights for high school starts tomorrow morning 6am to 9am. Hope to see you there!!!

We had two vaulters compete at the Midwest Night of Stars meet held at Nebraska Wesleyan. This gave them the opportunity to vault against some new and tough competitors. Trevor Fuss vaulted 14' 1" to earn himself first place. Peter Russell looked great during warmups but struggled to get going again after sitting until the height he came in at. Way to represent Kimball boys!
Free Summer Meals at Mary Lynch start on Monday, June 3rd! Come join us all summer for free breakfast and lunch for kids and teens under age 18. Breakfast from 8-9 and lunch from 11:30 to 12:30. Meals served Monday to Friday all summer.
Day 2 of track camp!
Members of Kimball Committed went on a whopping 12-mile hike at the beautiful Red Mountain Open Space between Cheyenne, WY, and Wellington, CO. They trekked out on the Sinking Sun trail to a portion of the Cheyenne Rim trail, and back down on the Ruby Wash trail and the Bent Mountain trail.
Desolate, wild, and otherworldly beautiful. These kids did great to keep up.
Next KC hike is in July at Curt Gowdy State Park, one trail includes Hidden Falls.

Kimball's own Brandon Paxton will be representing Kimball playing for the red team tonight in the Panhandle Prep All-Star basketball games at Scottsbluff High School.

The 2nd Annual Red & White Classic is right around the corner. Get your teams together and come play a round of golf! If golf isn't your thing, that's okay. Come on down to our banquet catered by Kinks Smokin YOTEE and silent auction. Items include gift baskets, Husker volleyball tickets, Husker football tickets, blankets, a pressure washer, a Blackstone, etc...
