📣 Attention Mary Lynch School Parents! 📣
There was a typo on the events flyer that went home in Longhorn Mail today! The 4th Quarter Awards Ceremony is scheduled for May 22nd, not May 21st. Don't worry, all other details remain accurate! 🏆
Also, be sure to check out the Online Registration Flyer! Get a head start on next year's registration process and skip the paper forms!
One more Senior picture...
Today marked the seniors' last day of school, and they certainly made it memorable with their high-spirited pranks! They kicked off the day by arriving early to deck the halls with toilet paper, creatively rearrange the classroom furniture, and even pitch a tent in the student center. Between classes, they took strategic naps in the hallways, playfully blocking the paths. They also made sure to get to the parking lot extra early to block the parking for the underclassmen.
The day began with the seniors planning to surprise our staff with silly string during the morning chant in the Student Center. But to their surprise, the staff was armed and ready, leading to an epic silly string battle to start the day! The fun took a serious turn at 9:00 AM when the Sheriff’s Department showed up to issue citations for the creative parking jobs. All students were gathered in the Student Center as officers collected licenses and explained the citation process. The tension was palpable until it was revealed to be just another prank, eliciting groans and laughter that echoed through the building. Parents, we apologize if you received some panicked texts—it was all in good fun! A huge thank you to the Sheriff's Department for being in on the joke and helping make this prank one for the history books!
Seniors, you’ve been a fantastic class, and your leadership, work ethic, and vibrant spirit have truly enlivened our halls. We're excited to see the great things you will accomplish next. You will definitely be missed!
A reminder that there will be FREE sports physicals on Friday May 10th from 10-12. All students who will be participating in sports next year are required to have a physical and will not be allowed to practice until they have one! Permission slips and physical forms are located at the office at the high school. Incoming 7th graders have been given a form to return. If you have questions please contact your child's school.
