The WTC Basketball tournament starts next Thursday 2/1/24. Our girls will play in Bayard at 6 pm and our boys will host Bayard at 6 pm. I would like to remind you that this home game is a WTC event and Kimball passes will not be valid. I have posted the admission prices.
ELITE leadership club spent some time volunteering at the Upside Down Childcare Center today. They had fun reading stories, playing with play-doh, and playing dress up. 🤗
Today at ELITE we had cooking club. The kids made pineapple cake using just 2 ingredients!

It is school board recognition week in Nebraska! Today at ELITE, the kids learned a new game called Blob Tag. They loved it! Each week, Ms. Ashley picks a new game from the book we received at the afterschool conference called Why Play Works. The games encourage teamwork, decision-making, and positive relationships.
The Lady Longhorns get the W at Mitchell this evening as they take down the Tigers by a score of 44-41 to notch their fourth victory of the season! Way to finish ladies! #LonghornPride
Pre-K is having a blast with our tubes and tunnels study! We made our own marble run!
Yesterday at ELITE, the kids were excited to spend time with Mr. Mohr!! They worked in some basic tumbling moves and then, of course, played DODGEBALL!!!
The Kimball jr high basketball team was in action tonight in Mitchell. The A team started off the night with a big win. The B and C teams came up short, but played really well. Next up is Prairie in Kimball, Thursday at 2:00. #longhornpride

Congratulations to the fifth grade spellers who advance to the District Spelling Bee on January 31 at 1:45 at the high school auditorium. They are Barrett Brown, Blayden Serrano, Kalli Shoup, Chloe Duran, and Kaizi Bennett.

The Longhorns start out strong but are unable to hold off Chase County as they fall in the 5th place game by a score of 42-50. Both teams will be in action again on Thursday at home against Sutherland. Good luck! #LonghornPride
