Supermarket Sweep Continued We forgot to mention that Clean Harbors picked up the food bill for all items totaling over $1600!!

On Friday, students from the Kimball Jr/Sr High School participated in our own version of Supermarket Sweep. In partnership with Main Street Market, Clean Harbors and the Kimball Food Pantry, students raced through the store in search of over 60 food items, pre-selected as items in need. The students who collected all items in the fastest time earned points for their ranch (think the Harry Potter house system but Longhorn style). The Growling Grizzlies, represented by Rachel Berger, Braxton Miller, Grace Moore, Joe Bremer and Mr. Jefferis, were the winners. If you missed it on Friday, KIMB 104.3 broadcast the event live from Main Street Market and Jay Allen was able to interview all involved. The interviews are linked below. Here is the interview of the students: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cWzN7pf1q_2lIAop9lpGasSRz8xQCeKC/view?usp=drive_link Here is the interview with Joe Kishiyama and Stephanie Shoup of Clean Harbors: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OHEQFxyjtjrXNNymYcNMa1XWX3nW-xEc/view?usp=sharing Here is the interview with Chellie Autrey of the Kimball Food Pantry: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JQ5EF42u5H9UR2YN52T6zK0C3mAJsiSn/view?usp=sharing Here is the interview with Troy Harper of Main Street Market: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h8zxwoIzwy-4G7ksw03QT2qfCOQYLPUV/view?usp=sharing Thank you to all involved for making this event happen!
