📣Attention ELITE families! Next Thursday is our last Family Fun Night! 😁

✏️KHS Creative Writing students rewrote one of their fondest childhood books into an adult story. They continue to surpass expectations!

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟
Get ready for an amazing assembly coming to Mary Lynch this Friday, April 19th! 🎉 We're thrilled to host NED's Mindset Mission, a character education program that's all about three crucial messages: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. 🌟
During the assembly, our students will dive into the importance of these life skills through engaging storytelling, magic, humor, and mind-blowing yo-yo tricks! 🪀
But the fun doesn't stop there! After the assembly, we'll sell yo-yos just like the ones used during the show. But here's the best part: when you purchase a yo-yo, you're not just getting a fun toy - you're supporting an incredible cause! 🙌
Yo-yos also allow schools to host NED's Mindset Mission without dipping into their budget. Through the Pay-It-Forward program, schools receive the performance and follow-up teacher resources for free. Then, by hosting a yo-yo sale, families can continue the mission by sending NED's message to the next school! 🌈
Did you know, yo-yo information went home in yesterday's Longhorn mail? 📬 Let's come together and support this amazing initiative!

Today at ELITE, we learned that it was Bat Appreciation Day! 🦇Amanda Filipi from the Wildcat Hills Nature Center taught the kids some interesting facts about bats and had some fun examples of different types of bats! 🦇

We had another good day of track. These kids are working hard!
