ELITE Afterschool Program kids carved a jack-o-lantern today and then they did a "Puking Pumpkin" science experiment. It was definitely a thumbs up 👍 🎃

Five students were able to participate in the Steel Days Welding Competition at LCCC. They worked hard and really showed off their skills in vertical and horizontal t-joints! Proud of all they have accomplished! Students who competed were Grace Anderson, Jarrett Schutz, Landon Norberg, Cody Brinkman, and Aaron Gillming.

In Art 1 we are exploring how to create depth on a flat piece of paper. We have began our linear perspective section and our first project was One-Point Names. Soon we will be working on a 2-pooint perspective scene.









ELITE Afterschool Program learned about scientific reasoning with action & reaction. They studied Ooblek, hydro-dip color, light refraction, and kinetic sand.
