The Kimball Public School Board approved the 2025-26 School calendar at the Regular Board Meeting on March 10, 2025. Kimball Public Schools will again operate on a four-day school week during the 2025-2026 school year. A couple of notes regarding the 2025-2026 school calendar:The start date for students is August 18, 2025 (1:00 PM dismissal).
The end date for students is May 21, 2025 (1:00 PM dismissal).
KPS will have school on 6 Fridays during the school year: September 5, 2025 (No school on Monday for Labor Day), November 7, 2025 (No school on Tuesday for Junior High Wrestling Tournament), January 9, 2026 (No school on Monday for staff professional development), February 20, 2026 (No school on Monday for staff professional development), March 6, 2026 (No school on Wednesday for FFA competition), April 10, 2026 (No school on Monday for Easter break)

The speech team competed in Mitchell today . Skyla made it to finals in poetry and placed sixth. Rachel and Skyla made it to finals in duet acting where they also placed sixth. The team earned a runner up plaque in class C -D. Congratulations Kimball Speech Team
